Coriander Pineapple Green Smoothie

Drinking your greens are an easy and delicious way to get more of them into your diet. Especially if you don’t love their bitter taste, it’s easier to mask behind the other ingredients (provided you get the green to other things ratio right).

Here are a few nutritional facts about the ingredients:

Coriander is good for detoxing and cleansing. Green vegetables contain fat soluble vitamins, meaning they need to be eaten with fat to be absorbed, hence the avocado.

Avocado is also great for making your skin glow.

Pineapple is full of vitamin C and digestive enzyme (helps you break your food), bromelain.

Ginger is a warming, spicy addition with natural anti inflammatory properties.

Coconut water contains electrolytes to help you stay hydrated.

Ingredients

1/2 Bunch Coriander

Handful of Spinach

1/4 Small Pineapple, Peeled and Chopped

1/4 - 1/2 An Avocado

1-2 cm Knob Fresh Ginger, Peeled and Chopped

1 - 1 1/2 Cups Coconut Water

1 Scoop Collagen Powder

Method

  1. Blend ingredients in blender until liquid

  2. Pour into a glass to drink now or in a glass jar/bottle with a lid to drink later.
